My experience at Mangwa hunting safaris was a great one both times Jacques and Vivian are great hosts and great people The staff, the food and the facilities are all first class. I took five animals this time around with the most exciting being a Male lion which took a team effort from Jacques the PH to the trackers who are amazing in their efforts to find the animal. If you are considering a hunting safari in South Africa then look no further than Mangwa you will be happy you did. Looking forward to the next adventure with Mangwa hunting safaris
The experience of at Mangwa Safari was awesome. I harvested several animals but the top of the list is the Cape Buffulo. I felt the excitement of hunting one the most dangerous animals in the world all the time Jacques and Solomon was very professional and kept my safety top priority. The whole team was great and the food was also. Accommodations were awesome also. As for me I didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to go back. If anyone is thinking about South Africia hunting don’t hesitate to book it here. Oh yea here is how my Buffalo hunt ended up.
Aidan “The Hunter” Stokes“Mr. Jacques (our PH) and Mr. Soli (our great tracker/helper) did an awesome job on our hunt in South Africa. They went above and beyond to make the hunts successful. Mr. Jacques was great with teaching the African traditions when you harvest an animal too. I look forward to seeing my friends again.
With Jacques on the hunt and you have success. My expectations were high. But they were exceeded!!!
Hunting with Mangwa was a great experience and a epic adventure. Jacques went above and beyond to really make this trip a life long memory and I can’t wait to come back. For a great experience and great hunting I highly recommend biking with Mangwa.
It was a pleasure to spend my time with Mangwa: good food, accommodation in camp, friendly atmosphere, a lot of wild nature. Thanks to Jacques!
The perfect combination of family, hunting and nature holiday. It can be really recommended to go on holiday with Jacque Britts from Mangwa hunting Safaris.Jacques is very service minded and good at getting everyone to feel comfortable. All applauded both hunting, delicious food and drink. There were no additional charges beyond the fixed price agreed in advance. We thought it was a great fun, beautiful, beautiful and breathtaking experience.
The perfect combination of family, hunting and nature holiday. It can be really recommended to go on holiday with Jacque Britts from Mangwa hunting Safaris. We started in South Africa on 3 days of hunting. The 4 off us had some exciting days and all were shot what we had wished for, both the experienced hunter and the novice hunter. From the Elephant Sands in Botswana, to fishing on the Zambezi river, watching locals live in mud huts, sail in dugout canoes and see the women fetch water from the river, followed by the Magnificent Victoria falls in Zimbabwe, then round back to South Africa. My wife and I attended a 14 day trip from Johannesburg to Victoria Falls and back through South Africa, Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe. Along the way there were hunting, where everyone got their wish fulfilled, fishing for tiger fish on the Zambezi River, spending the between elephants (Elephant Sands) and got the magnificent experience to see Victoria Falls. Along the way we lived very well on different logdes, and we had good meals and plenty of drinks of our own choice. It's all arranged by Jacques Brits, Mangwa Hunting Safaris, who was a great guide and host. All in all a fantastic and unforgettable trip.
We have just returned home after a wonderful hunting trip with Mangwa Hunting Safaris. We stayed at the River Lodge which is a lovely lodge right on the river with great staff and super tasty food and drink. We had a great hunting experience where we went hunting in some great hunting grounds and got some beautiful trophies with us home. The trip was very well organized and there was no additional costs beyond the agreed price. Our PH and outfitter Jacques Brits did everything to make our stay memorable and both my wife and I had a truly amazing experience.
This is a reminder to me and you. Money comes back. Time doesn’t. You can always earn more. But you don’t get a second shot at your kid being 7… or 13… or 19. I’ve had people tell me: “You can’t afford to go.” “That trip should wait.” “Be responsible.” I get it. But the older I get, and the older my son gets the more I realize: sometimes responsibility means going anyway. It means saying yes to the trip… Even if the timing isn’t perfect. Even if it stretches the budget a bit. Even if it makes zero sense on a spreadsheet. Because one day you’ll look back and you won’t remember the price tag. You’ll remember the moment. The nights sitting around the campfire. The way your son looked at you like you were the coolest dad on Earth. Vacations don’t last forever. But what they give you does. Memories. So take the trip. Make the memory. Spend the time. Because the cost of missing it? That’s way more than the price of the vacation.
