Jacques Brits is registered with various Provincial Nature Conservation Authorities such as PHASA and SA Sport and Hunting Federation. As a Professional Hunter himself, Jacques has been guiding safaris for the last 17 years and has hunted successfully, not only in South Africa, but also in the neighbouring states, including Botswana and Zimbabwe

Any safari activity is potentially hazardous and it is essential that all lawful direction and advice of the safari operator be followed. Mangwa Hunting Safaris accepts no responsibility for death, injury or illness sustained or suffered by any persons loss, theft, or damage to property occurring during a visit (or visits) to areas or resorts under our control, whether allegedly due to the negligence of any of our servants or agents, or arising from the use of any facility supplied or made available by us.
Mangwa recommends using a travel agent who specialises in African travel and hunting arrangements. We personally collect clients from Polokwane Airport, while transfers from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg can be arranged at an additional cost.
South Africa requires no Visa, but does require a passport.
For wing-shooting enthusiasts, South Africa offers phenomenal opportunities, including doves, partridge, francolin, duck, and geese.
Mangwa Hunting Safaris can assist with trophy arrangements; however, permits, transportation, and related costs will be your own responsibility. Restrictions may apply to certain animals in specific countries. Please ensure you are aware of these regulations and take them into consideration when booking your trip.
Bow hunting is welcomed. Please let us know prior to arrival if you intend on using a bow. No permit is required.
Bug game animals require minimum calibre rifles 375 / 458 / 416 / 500 and a minimum of 40-60 bullets per hunter
Plains game hunters: minimum caliber for Limpopo area 7mm / 308 / 30.06 / 300 win mag and also a minimum of lead point bullets and no solids on any plains game
